Solitary, found on reef where it feeds on ascidians. Conspicuous nudibranch species characterised by small pustules covering its body, which are connected into longitudinal lines in some variations. Colour and pattern of the pustules can vary. The most common colouring has a black body base and green pustules and rhinophores, with orange gills and edge of foot. The size is about 80mm.
