Purple with a thin marginal white line, three longitudinal lines on the dorsum. These lines can be yellow, with a white edge on each side. In some specimens the lines are broken or only the medial line is present. Feeds on the sponge, Dysidea sp. in which the animals may entirely embed themselves. Found on shallow reefs in depths up to 30m.
Remarks:
Body size up to 12 mm
