Thin body but has a similar coloration to the imperator shrimp, and has white lines over the body. They have a large rostum, and the color of their body can camouflage, like the host. This shrimp is associated with sea star found on several species like Linckia sp. , Ancanthaster sp., Culcita sp.,Choriaster sp. They can be in big groups, with up to 24 shrimps can be found on single sea star or sometimes only 1 or 2. Size 1.3 cm.
