BLUEBARRED PARROTFISH

The adult has a blue to green body with salmon to pink scale margins. Usually there is a pale salmon area located above and behind the pectoral fin. There are blue to green bands on their chin and behind their eye. The sub-adult has a yellow or yellow-green body with four or five diffuse blue bars on their sides. There are blue bands around their mouth and eyes with blue fin margins. They live solitary in reef areas, found in 2-30m depth.
