TITAN TRIGGERFISH

This species is the most aggressive triggerfish, and often found in pairs. They make a nest by making a large hole of sand or rubble and they lay the eggs in the centre of the nest. Usually the female will guard the eggs. It can attack divers which approach too closely, and causes a serious wound. They have a dark base color, with yellow mixed with a green to blue color. Their cheek also has a mix of colors of yellow and green. They have a white rear body and tail base. The body can be up to 75cm.
