This species has a light gray to brown body and a yellowish tail with a darkish bar on its tail base. There are blue spots and streaks on their cheek and gill cover. Its also has a black spot on their pectoral fin base. Lives solitary or forms groups in reef areas, found in 12-70 m depth.
