RED FROG SPANNER CRAB

They have an elongated carapace that does not cover their abdomen. This crab is named for its pincher that is shaped like a spanner. Their antennae are short, and they can be identified by the eyes that show up on the sand while the whole body is buried. They are very fast moving. They are only found occasionally.
