WELANDER'S FLATHEAD

Small flat head species, quite common in Lembeh. Found on sand or rubble both on the muck sites as well as on coral sites lying still, sometimes slightly covered by sediment. It can be distinguished from a similar species, the spiny flathead, by longer snout and pretty green, brown and white pattern on its pectoral fins.
