Mottled in shade of tan to yellow brown and red brown. Have 1 or 2 spots on dorsal fin, 4- 5 white spots below dorsal fin, 2 faint bars on upper lip extent into upper mouth. It burrow in sand and rubble hole. The size is up to 9 cm.
