PONTOHI PYGMY SEAHORSE

Hippocampus pontohi

Very small species, which are usually found on hydroids among algae and ascidians on rocky reefs. Often in swell or current swept areas. Green, yellow, brown with red markings and white in color with small skin flaps. Discovered in Bunaken National Park.
