White to light blue base color with a black line along the body, which gets wider from the head to the tail. Has a yellow line on the upper body. Solitary, and mimics both juvenile and adult cleaner wrasse (Labroides dimidiatus), allowing them to safely approach fish and feed on skin and scales.
